Application Process

The recruitment process at the Insurance Training Center is standardized. After receiving resumes and cover letters, we assess candidates based on skills and an interview. Applicants may also be given a short task to test the suitability for the position. Top candidates will be asked back for a final interview with a director.

Contract Position: Content Creator

The Role: 

We are looking for someone to work with us in creating animated insurance explainer videos for our online courses. This would be a project-based role and the hours would be flexible. This is a work-from-home position.

Who you are: 

You are a self-motivated individual who is creative, has an eye for detail and design, and can quickly understand concepts and explain them to others.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with animation software
  • Willingness to self-learn

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in education, graphic design, content creation, risk management or insurance
  • Insurance work experience is an asset

Contract Position: Research Analyst

The Role:

We are looking for a talented writer with exceptional critical thinking and analysis skills to create engaging and persuasive content for our website. The successful recipient will develop writing skills that align with client guidelines for various social media platforms, advertising campaigns, blogs and branding.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to hone their creative writing skills in a flexible platform.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, write and edit content that both reflects our brand and is formatted for SEO, including blog posts, promotional material, informational guides, social media posts and video scripts
  • Conduct research using a variety of methods, from government documents to personal interviews with industry professionals
  • Use statistics and data and apply them to content in an analytical format
  • Research emerging industry trends and create usable whitepapers
  • Edit and refine miscellaneous content as needed
